Kenneth Justin Lord is the President and CEO of Central Broward Construction, one of South Florida’s largest and most successful Masonry Companies. With an inherited reverence for South Florida, Mr. Lord stands in the forefront of efforts to maintain the Masonry trade in our local community. In 2000 he was asked to join Central Broward Construction, Mr. Lord is the third generation to serve the corporation; he has been a Labor, Mason Tender, Apprentice, Chief Estimator, and worked as Project Manager. Mr. Lord attended Auburn University and received a degree in building science in 2003. Mr. Lord assumed leadership of the company in 2005 and to present day has overseen the direction of this third- generation, 42- year- old, family – owned company. 

Central Broward Construction is a founding member of the Masonry Association of South Florida. In keeping with tradition, 2007-2008 Justin served as Vice President and in 2009 became the President of the South-East Chapter of the Masonry Association of South Florida (MAF) as well as a member of the State Board of Directors. Mr. Lord now also serves on the Masonry Education Foundation which concentrates on education and apprenticeship. With his leadership, the MAF is responsible for the Concrete Masonry Education Act that passed the Florida legislation committees with overwhelming support. Governor Rick Scott signed this Bill into law June 2014. This created the Concrete Masonry Education Council. Mr. Lord was appointed to the council by the Governor Rick Scott and voted as Vice Chair in year 2014. Mr. Lord now serves as Chairman of this Council for the 2017 term. 

2013 CBC was awarded 25 years of service and membership to The Construction Association of South Florida. CASF is a non-profit organization whose members are from all aspects of the construction industry. With over 500 members, their network of professionals makes the Construction Association of South Florida one of the leading and most outstanding construction-related organizations in the region. Mr. Lord was elected to sit on the Board of Directors in 2012 and currently serving as President. 

A native Floridian, Mr. Lord’s commitment to masonry runs deep and he is focused on the future growth of South Florida. Dedication to the local community is evident with his involvement in several Construction Associations and continues to give back to his community with his philanthropic endeavors such as Habitat for Humanity, BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF AMERICA, Junior Achievement, and KIDS IN DISTRESS. 

Mr. Lord’s most recent accomplishment is the purchase of Coast to Coast Forming, Inc. Coast to Coast has an extensive history being founded in 1990 by Dave Hutchins. Mr. Hutchins brings his knowledge and expertise as a South Florida pioneer of post tension cable, flying aluminum forms, and instrumental in developing numerous form systems and safety practices. CBC and C2C have an extended history of working together, combining their concrete and masonry expertise on many successful projects. This acquisition will enable Mr. Lord to provide concrete services to the South Florida Market.

Luis is Project executive and has been in the construction industry for over 13 years both as a

masonry subcontractor and as a general contractor. A combined 22 years of

experience in project management, operations and finance. Successfully completed 50+ story towers, hospitals, schools, arenas, hotels, and military

facilities up to $15 million dollars per project. Luis serves at the Board of Directors for CFMA Fort Lauderdale chapter.
